Statele is like Wordle, but it's about maps. This time, you have 6 tries to guess the states. It shows how far, in what direction, and how close your guess is to the goal state after each guess.
The Objective:
The goal is to correctly guess the secret U.S. state in 6 tries or fewer.
Starting the Game:
1) The game randomly selects a U.S. state as the target to guess.
2) You make your first guess by entering any U.S. state name.
After Each Guess:
1) The game provides feedback in 3 parts:
- Distance: How far away your guess is from the target state (e.g. 500 miles)
- Direction: A compass direction indicating which way the target is from your guess (e.g. NE, SW)
- Proximity: How relatively close or far your guess is to the target on a scale (e.g. Very Close, Close, Far)
2) Use these clues about distance, direction and proximity to make your next guess, trying to narrow in on the target state.
Winning:
You win if you correctly guess the secret target state within 6 tries.
