Periodle is a word-guessing game that is similar to Wordle and several of its knockoffs. You must predict words that are made with elements from Hydrogen to Oganesson on the periodic table rather than using the letters A to Z.
Orange letters are a new addition to Periodle, which makes the game harder overall. When a component is highlighted in orange, it signifies that although it appears to be in the solution word, it is not. The first guess, "Piracy," and the components that were guessed, "P," "I," and "Ra," are all letters in the right word, as illustrated in the illustration below. But since the correct response is "Practical," those particular details are incorrect in the end.
