Instructions for Immaculate Grid
Immaculate Grid takes a sharp eye for detail and an in-depth knowledge of player biographies and accomplishments. You must follow certain guidelines and requirements in order to correctly complete the grid. For the team listed in the team cell, each chosen player must have appeared in at least one major league game. If the New York Yankees are the team, for instance, the player must have made an appearance for the Yankees at some point in their career.
Additionally, for award cells, the player selected must have received the honor during a campaign in which they represented the designated team. All-Star selections, which are tied to a specific team, are an exception. For instance, if a player divided a season between Texas and New York and was an All-Star for the Texas Rangers, they would match for the Rangers All-Stars but not the Yankees All-Stars. Others who have won awards and have played for numerous teams can match any of those teams.
The gameplay of Immaculate Grid involves a variety of categories and elements. Hall of Famers are eligible for consideration regardless of their category (player, team, umpire, executive/pioneer), but they must have participated in at least one major league game. Winners of the World Series must have participated in a postseason game or been a member of the team's postseason roster during that season to be eligible. Players must have attained the required stats while competing for the indicated team in order for the game to take into account their career and season stats.
